Here in Western NY the first part of this week was mild with temp. In the 40's and 50's last evening after heavy rain all day the temp. dropping it started snowing. Very heavy wet snow with high winds. I don't know how much we have but I am guessing around 6 inches. For a area that is accustom to snow this has kind of gotten every one off guard. well, right now we are being blasted by a storm barreling down from canada, with hazardous driving and blizzard conditions in the offing, higher up.. as to fog, this photo offers a rare display of misty conditions over our lake, that after the last major rain storm.
it reminds me of summer days of my youth on the pacific coast..

I honestly was trap in the the box of the jw cult since birth I never thought much about the reasonableness of the theology of the wt. But as a child I often wonder how they knew all about the Bible and other religions didn't. I can see now it was all blind trust. But that thinking of them against us was very im bedded in me. Im Writing An Ex-JW Self Help Book

for many it's traumatic and few find the transition easy.
we have to deal with families cutting us off entirely or keeping us at arms length at best, lies being told about us by the organization, ex members gossiping about us and finding ourselves in a world very different from what we're prepared for.. for this reason, i've decided to start writing a self-help book informing jws of what to expect when they leave the org.

In my early years as a elder when they mention this verse it had a effect on me to keep going on and do your job. Several years ago a O.C. told me in confidence that the GB believes half of the friends will die at Armageddon because they were half hearted. Because of this thinking he said the GB can't trust the friends to do the right thing so we shouldn't.
